Refund Policy

1. Subscription Plans

UmeedGo offers the following subscription plans:

  • Free: PKR 0 — Core features including CV Builder, Job Listings, Document Storage
  • Premium: PKR 499/month — AI Assistant, Contract Analyzer, Scam Detector, Salary Calculator
  • Pro: PKR 999/month — Everything + Priority Support + Unlimited AI + Advanced Analytics

2. Refund Eligibility

You may be eligible for a refund if:

  • You requested a refund within 7 days of your initial subscription purchase
  • You have not used premium features extensively (fewer than 10 AI interactions)
  • The payment was made in error or you experienced a duplicate charge
  • The premium features did not work as described due to a technical issue on our end

3. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will NOT be granted for:

  • Requests made after 7 days of purchase
  • Subscriptions that have been extensively used (10+ AI interactions)
  • Subscription upgrades or plan changes
  • Failure to cancel before automatic renewal
  • Dissatisfaction with job placement outcomes (UmeedGo does not guarantee employment)
  • Account termination due to violation of Terms of Service

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  1. Email billing@umeedgo.com with subject "Refund Request"
  2. Include your registered email address
  3. Include your payment slip or transaction ID
  4. State the reason for your refund request

We will review your request within 5 business days and respond via email.

5. Refund Processing

If approved:

  • Refunds are processed within 10-15 business days
  • Refunds are issued via the original payment method (JazzCash, EasyPaisa, Bank Transfer)
  • Your premium access will be revoked upon refund processing

6. Cancellation vs. Refund

Cancelling your subscription stops future billing but does not automatically trigger a refund. Your premium access continues until the end of the current billing period.

To cancel: Go to Settings → Subscription → Cancel Subscription

7. Free Trial

If UmeedGo offers a free trial:

  • You will not be charged during the trial period
  • You can cancel anytime during the trial
  • If you do not cancel, your subscription begins at the end of the trial
  • Trial refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis
